Many paddocks contain one or a few isolated trees
Many such trees have been frequently defoliated, have lost limbs, and have little hope of replacing themselves without our help. They are a frequent sight on the New England Tablelands.

In a particularly barren paddock, sometimes planting tubestock is your only option.
